This is achieved by automatically sending an ‘Alive Check’ message at regular intervals to ensure that a lone worker has been active. If no response is received an emergency alarm can be raised from the lone worker’s radio, sending an alert to their colleagues’ MOTOTRBO mobile devices and a text to their GPS location.

Alternatively, a mode titled ‘Mandown’ can be activated which will cause the radio to change to a mode indicating that the user has been inactive for a pre-programmed period of time.
